InCites数据库简介
InCites 是汤森路透科技集团在汇集和分析Web of Science (SCIE/SSCI)权威引文数据的基础上于2011年（南京医科大学网站讲座说明）建立起来的科研评价工具，综合各种计量指标和30年来各学科各年度的国际标杆数据。通过InCites，用户能够实时跟踪机构的研究产出和影响力；将本机构的研究绩效与其他机构以及全球和学科领域的平均水平进行对比；发掘机构内具有学术影响力和发展潜力的研究人员，并监测机构的科研合作活动，以寻求潜在的科研合作机会。
InCites 能够帮助政府和学术研究机构中的决策者、科研管理人员分析本机构的学术表现和影响力，并针对全球同行的研究成果进行比较。
InCites数据库中各指标的意义
1 Web of Science Documents：论文数
2 Times Cited：被引频次
3 Cites per Document (Impact)：篇均被引频次
4 %Documents Cited：论文被引率（Number of cited documents divided by the total number of documents (P1/P2) x 100）；
5 Impact：论文篇均被引频次（In a global comparisons report, impact is the average number of citations received per paper. More broadly, impact is the degree to which a collection of papers influences research as measured by citation activity）；
6 Impact Relative to Country/territory： 该机构在指定时间指定领域发表论文平均被引次数与整个国家/地区所有领域论文平均被引次数的比值（Impact in a particular subject area relative to the impact for the entire country/territory in all subject areas. jA value greater than 1 indicates that the impact of the Country/Territory in the selected subject area is better than the average impact of the Country/Territory across all subject areas）；
7 Impact Relative to Subject Area：该机构在指定时间指定领域发表论文平均被引次数与Web of Science数据库中全球同时间同领域论文平均被引次数的比值（Impact in a particular subject area relative to the impact for the subject area overall. A value greater than 1 indicates a better than average impact in the subject area）；
8 Impact Relative to World：该机构论文被引率与全球论文被引率的比值[The percentage of documents that have been cited relative to the total number of documents cited in the world (a value greater than 1 indicates the impact is better than the average for the world)]；
9 Impact Relative to Institution：该机构在指定时间指定领域发表论文平均被引次数与该机构同时间所有领域论文平均被引次数的比值[Impact of an institution in a particular subject area relative to the impact for the institution in all subject areas (a value greater than 1 indicates that the impact of the institution in the selected subject area is better than the average impact of the institution across all subject areas)]；
10 % Documents in Subject Area：该机构在指定时间指定领域发表论文占全球同时间同领域论文的百分比（Number of articles in a subject area produced by a country, territory, or institution divided by the total number of documents in the subject area (P1/P2)×100）；
11 %Documents in Institution：该机构在指定时间指定领域发表论文占该机构同时间所有领域论文的百分比（Number of articles produced by an institution in one subject category divided by the total number of documents produced by that institution in all subject areas (P1/P2)×100）；
12 % Documents Cited Relative to Subject Area：该国家在指定时间指定领域发表论文被引百分数与全球同时间同领域论文被引百分数的比值（Percentage of cited papers for a country or territory divided by percentage of cited papers for the world. A value greater than 1 indicates a better-than-average impact relative to subject area）；
13 % Documents Cited Relative to Institution：该机构在指定时间指定领域发表论文被引百分数与该机构同时间所有领域论文被引百分数的比值（Percentage of cited papers for an institution in a subject area divided by percentage of cited papers for an institution as a whole. A value greater than 1 indicates that the impact of the institution in the selected subject area is stronger than the impact of the institution across all subject areas）；
